Hello, I’m Bethany!
Welcome to Living to Learn, a part of the internet where I am passionate about opening up books and learning to the world – whether you’ve loved words since childhood or never quite found they clicked for you.
I live in the depths of Somerset with my wonderful husband and sweet son, surrounded by family, friends and the occasional cow! When I’m not making home and raising my baby, I take great delight in bringing my love of books into my day job as a secondary school librarian, encouraging children to see that everyone can enjoy reading! I love mixing my joy for literature with research to provide information about all sorts of books!
As a child, home-education provided me with a deeply rooted love for learning and glorious childhood memories packed with literature, learning and wild adventures – both through books and the great outdoors! Now an English Literature graduate, my hope is to equip other homeschooling parents as they immerse their children in living learning.
My aim is to be living to learn as I learn to live, diving into the richness of education alongside all the other delights of life!
